‘International Day of Happiness’

On the 20th of  March our favorite day finally arrives, the international day of happiness. World of Cookies is based in The Netherlands, our language is called ‘Dutch’. In Dutch we call this day ‘Internationale dag van het geluk’. Fun fact: the Dutch word for Fortune Cookie is gelukskoekje. The word ‘geluk’ means luck but also means happiness. So now you understand why it’s one of our all-time favorite days.

So what is the International Day of Happiness? It’s a day to be happy, of course! Since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.
